Jenna Kagel Timothy

Feb 24, 1978 Dec 7, 2023

Our beloved Jenna passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 45. She was born February 24, 1978, in Lansing, Michigan, and is survived by her parents, Richard and Jan Kagel and sibilings Brian, Brad, Erin (Laney), and Richard. Jenna is also survived by her husband Robert Timothy, and children, Alexis, Caden, and Logan Timothy.

Jenna was greeted by her adored "angel boy" son, Tyler Kagel Kiehl who passed away in 2014 when he was just 3 years old and was the light of Jenna’s life. She missed him every day. She often spoke of the day she would be reunited with him in paradise. Jenna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Jenna grew up in Provo, UT where she graduated from Timpview High School. Jenna loved dancing, cheerleading, music, skiing, golfing, sports medicine, and throwing parties at her parent’s home. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Education from Southern Utah University.

Jenna lived in Las Vegas for many years, where she worked as a personal trainer and fitness model. She taught and coached many people, including celebrities during that time.

Jenna had a great sense of adventure and loved to travel, which she did so as much as possible. She often traveled by herself and was so proud of the many countries she had conquered. She was also an expert swimmer and loved to dive. She often called herself a mermaid because of the love she had for the water. She often spoke of how lucky she was to have parents who took her to visit historical sites and amazing places all around the world. Her journals show her travels took her to every state in the U.S.A. and at least 31 countries.

Jenna loved to dress up and was drop dead gorgeous in her matching outfits, stiletto shoes, and giant hoop earrings. Many saw her as a real-life Barbie doll and she actually named her two BMW cars, Ken and Barbie. She loved wearing diamonds, furs, Ray-Ban’s; sporting coach purses, long hair, even longer eye lashes and getting her nails done. She loved to have fun and look good doing it as long as it wasn’t cooking. She maintained the child in her by collecting and playing with her ‘’My Little Ponies.’’

On July 9th, 2023, she married the love of her life, Robert Timothy. She always wanted to be a wife and mother and was able to do that even for the short time they were together. Her kindness, generosity and humor were infectious, and she made everyone around her feel loved, important and appreciated. She will be sorely missed.

Funeral Services will be held by private invitation to close friends and family.
