Brian Wittke was born to Donald Wittke Sr. and Annie Vargas on December 10th, 1980, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Brian passed away on June 14th, 2022, at the age of 41 and returned to his creators loving arms where he could be at peace.
Brian had a profound influence on all who knew him. He had a fun, playful personality and conveyed love, humor, and joy to all fortunate enough to interact with him.
As a third-generation pilot, Brian loved flying and the freedom it brought. As a child he was fascinated with airplanes and the concept of flying. As an adult he accomplished his dream of becoming a Delta pilot and took to the sky on metal wings. He was constantly excelling in his profession. If Brian had a weakness, it was that he could never sit still. He was constantly reading and learning, including obtaining an MBA degree from the University of Utah while working full time. But as impressive as his career was, even more impressive was his love for his family!
Brian married the love of his life, Wendy Lowrance, in 2002 and added three beautiful children to their family. He Forever, for always, and no matter what.
cherished the quality time he got to spend with them. He excelled as a provider for his family whom he loved dearly.
Brian developed a love for nature and all that it entailed. Whether hiking, camping, skiing, dirt biking, or just being in the mountains, Brian was always most at peace when in nature.
Brian is survived in life by his wife (Wendy), his children (Brinley [19], Bryson [16], and Brayden [12]), his siblings (Abbie, Donald; Elizabeth, Mary, Jonathan, David, Stephen), his parents (Don and Kathy, Ann and Frank, and Dan and Elaine).
Brian, may the wind always be under your forever wings and may you fly free! Love you forever, for always, and no matter what.

I had the honor to fly with Brian. He was an excellent pilot and a fun character to work with. He thought of everyone and it was a fun trip. God Bless all those in his honor.

Brian and Wendy and the children moved in Next door to us several years ago. They brought lots of smiles and helping hands to us and the neighbors. We were sorry when we heard of his passing. May the family joy sustain you all in this difficult time.
I met Brian at Lifetime Fitness years ago. Brian was always personable, and enjoyed conversation, especially when it came to aviation. Brian, you will be missed.
