Janice "Jones" Brown Beardall

Jones reunited with her parents Darrell and Macie Brown and brothers Terry and Dell, where she was embraced whole-heartedly by those she has missed for so long.

While married to Larry “Magoo” Beardall, Jones accepted her most challenging yet sought after role. Mom to her 4 hellions.

Always happy to be a mom, the greatest title she earned was that of Grandma Jones. With 12 grandkids and 5 great grandkids, she beamed with pride at the mere mention of her family, never missing a chance to share their stories.

Fueled by Diet Coke and Chocolate, Jones maintained a sugar and spice composure, however, she always had a reserve of piss and vinegar! Forever the bullheaded Taurus, Jones retired twice while singing “Take this job and shove it.” Never one to stay idle, her most recent position gifted her the joy of working with her son and daughter as chief dishwasher until her passing.

Mom was always willing to stand her ground, offer her support, embarrass her children and laugh with or at them, including but not limited to stopping the car and doing “The Twist” in the middle of the road, sending flowers to school for your birthday, or slipping you a few bucks whether needed or not.

With the odd habit of reading the obituaries daily, “to make sure she wasn’t in there,” it is with great sadness that her loved ones find her here today. She will continue to be loved, admired and celebrated by us all; Larry, Julie, Brandi, Terry, Tom, Kasandra, Levi, Jen and the countless others that hold her in their hearts.

May the Diet Coke flow free, the bonus spins be endless, and the pigs always fly for you.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092. Prior to the graveside service a viewing for family and friends will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the same address.
