Zachary Harmon

Zachary Stephen Harmon, 23, of Provo, UT was involved in a horrific accident on February 15th. He passed away 2 days later, the 17th from injuries sustained due to the accident. Zach’s family is shocked and deeply heartbroken by his loss.

Zach was born on October 25, 1998 to Steve Harmon and Lesli Mineer Carter in Orem, UT. After graduating from Provo High School in 2017, Zach attended Utah Valley University. He resided in Provo all of his life.

Zach was recently employed at Utah Behavioral Services as a counselor working with children with Autism. This was by far his favorite job. He loved working with these kids and they adored him. He recently told his mom he wanted to become a teacher because of this job. He had a huge passion for sports, traveling, the beach, photography, fitness, and animals. He loved the Bronco’s, Ronaldo, and recently completed his first half-marathon.

He was the most kind and tender hearted soul. He had the greatest laugh and was so loved by all who were blessed to know him. He shared a very special and close bond with both his mom and dad. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

He is survived by his parents Steve Harmon, Lesli Carter and step father Kenny Carter. Also by his grandmothers Ann Mineer and Louette Harmon. As well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And of course his two beloved dogs Duke and Stella, and his kitty Puma.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandpa, Wayne Mineer his best ski buddy. Also by his Uncle David, and three cousins.

There will be a viewing at 1:00pm with a service to celebrate his life at 2:00 held Friday, February 25, 2022, at Nelsons Family Mortuary, 4780 North University Ave., Provo, UT 84604.
