Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Wilma Fae Lake Hilton passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2023. Born in Salt Lake City on February 28, 1941, to William and Thelma Bangerter Lake. She married Robert (Bob) Hilton in the Salt Lake Temple on June 6, 1957.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Relief Society Counselor, Primary President, teacher, and her favorite Primary Chorister. Fae began her working career as a beautician. After she retired from cutting hair, she began working at the school district as the kitchen manager. She loved being the proverbial “lunch lady”, working in the elementary, middle, and high schools. She loved meeting and talking to the kids every day. She retired from the Salt Lake School district after 20 plus years. She was an excellent cook and loved to share meals with friends and neighbors. Her family were the lucky recipients of her delicious home cooked meals every day!

Survived by her son Thomas Hilton, daughter Gloria (Missie) Ashbridge, son Steven Hilton; grandson Joshua, granddaughters Jessika, Ashley, Emma, Micah, and Riley; great grandsons Linkon, Benjamin, and Marcus, great granddaughter Eva.
