Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Willis Wendell Prows passed away at his home in Kanosh, Utah on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 77.

Wendell was born to Mable LeFevre and George Titus Prows in Fillmore, Utah on March 15, 1944. He graduated from Millard High School in 1962 and was a state wrestling champion for three consecutive years.

Wendell is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon R. Prows, his three sons, Troy Prows (Michelin) of Draper, Utah, Shane Prows (Shellie) of West Jordan, Utah, and Rhett Prows (Jana) of Saint George, Utah, one daughter, Wendie Prows Rashid (Robert) of Saint George, Utah, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Wendell had a long career of nearly 35 years at Utah Kennecott Copper. He was an extremely hard worker and excellent provider. An avid fly fisherman, he loved the outdoors and any excuse to spend time with his family. Wendell took pleasure in the simple things in life. He was an extraordinarily strong man with a kind, gentle heart who dearly loved his family. He was happy, friendly, and gregarious and always had a sincere smile and a warm handshake for everyone he met. He will be greatly missed until we meet again. Viewings will be held Sunday, November 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday, November 8 from 11:30 to 12:30 PM at the Kanosh LDS church. A graveside service will follow at the Kanosh Cemetery beginning at 1 PM.
