Wesley Wayne Cretsinger

Wesley Wayne Cretsinger passed away at the age of 86 on Monday, June 26, 2023. He was born on November 8, 1936, in Redfield, South Dakota, to Reverend H.W. Cretsinger And Ethel Marion Cretinger. He lived with his loving partner, Diann Keochinda for over 15 years.

He is survived by his brother Dean Cretsinger, His kids Troy Hedge, Cameron Poole, Jonathan Cretsinger, Malissa Poole Hansen, David Poole, Christine Mitchel, Marion Tygesen, Ashley Cruz, Angela Defoe, and Micah Osborne, and his many grandkids.

His hobbies and accomplishments include the following: He was a Master Carpenter and had built many homes and churches. He was an avid woodworker and a great door-to-door salesman who could sell ice to eskimos. He made friends everywhere he went and was never afraid to start a conversation with anyone. He loved to read and write, and he had many poems and stories he had written. He was funny, always loved a good joke, and always had a joke to tell.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Christopher Cretsinger.

Viewing and Funeral services will be held at his ward house on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Viewing from 4 p.m.–6 p.m. and funeral services directly after in the chapel. 1465 West Bristol Ridge Dr., West Jordan, Utah. A live stream will be available for anyone who is not able to attend.
