Wendy Baker-Dressen

Mar 3, 1952 Dec 17, 2022

Wendy Dressen, 70, of Salt Lake City Utah peacefully passed away surrounded by those she loved most on Saturday December 17th.

She is survived by Her Love, Buddy Dressen. Children Terrie, Justin, and Jessica, Grand Children, Kenadee (Braxton), Makayla (Jacob) and Mason. Her great granddaughter Abigail. Two Step Children, Alexis and Lynnzie. Two Sisters, Rhonda and Linda (Adolf) two brothers, Henry (Donna) and Richard (Janice) and many nieces and nephews.

Wendy was known by many and loved by all that knew her. She grew up in a small house in Duluth Minnesota with Parents Dagmar and Gerhardt along with her 8 brothers and sisters. She often would tell her children and grandchildren stories of her early years spent playing in the creek, milking their cow and her cold snowy Minnesota winters.

If you knew Wendy, you would know about her love for The Minnesota Vikings and of course Wendover, Keno and Poker machines. She could spend hours and days with her kids, nieces and sisters in Wendover. She cherished her time gathering with all her family and friends under the cherry tree at the picnic table with a frosty cold beverage in one hand, cigarette in the other and a pair of dice playing for dimes.

As saddened by the loss of their Wife, Sister, Aunty, Mother and Grandmama, they are grateful that she was able to leave this earthy world surrounded by those she loved. They are at peace knowing that Wendy got her legs back and is spending her days catching up with those that passed before at the picnic table under the cherry tree.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life on Wendy’s favorite day, Christmas Eve. Please stop in from 4pm-6pm on Saturday December 24th for a Christmas Celebration of the beautiful life that Wendy lived. If you would like to attend the celebration, please reach out to Terrie or Jessica for location details.
