Wendy Kay Giles Angell passed away from this earth on October 17, 2021 surrounded by close family and friends. She was born July 23, 1961 to Richard Glen Giles and Esther Lucille Vigos Giles.

In 2005 she met Bret Douglas Angell at their mutual place of employment, USF Reddaway truck line. After a five-year courtship and engagement, they were finally married on February 6, 2010.

She graduated from Granite High in 1979 and worked for her father at Giles Press. She moved on to Nations Way Transport where she remained for twelve years. She then went to work for USF Reddaway where she remained for three years. Most recently she has been working Conduent Inc.

Wendy loved to spend time recreating at family cabins and spending quality time with the family and friends. She loved her pets, gardening, reading, camping, fishing, hunting with Bret. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; Bret D. Angell, Daughter; Stephanie (David), sister; Debra (Steve) Rowland, Stepsons; Nick (Deanna) Christensen, J.D. Angell and 7 Grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

She is preceded in death by her father; Richard Glen Giles, Mother; Esther Lucille Vigos Giles, Sister; Sheryl Lyn Giles Markham, and brother Richard Stephen Giles.

A funeral service will be held on Monday 10/25/21 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. A viewing will be held on Sunday 10/24/21 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the same location and one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday 10/25/21.
