She spent time in all these towns until finally building the family home in Clearfield where she lived for close to 70 years; snowbirding to Mesa for the last 37 years.

She spent her last four months at Canyon Creek Senior Living Center. Our thanks go out to them as well as the loving people from Hospice For Utah for their kindness and concern, which made her last few months more comfortable.

As a person she was a positive thinker, curious, confident and caring - selflessly offering love and support. She was also strong willed and never afraid of a good debate.

When asked if she could only leave three pieces of wisdom to her posterity, she responded:

1. Keep an open mind.

2. Keep an open mind.

3. Keep an open mind and be kind.

Bob and I had such fun with Wanda at Valley del Oro the few years we were there with her. The comment in your story about her how she took great interest in people is right on. She was a delightful, pure spirit with many gifts and talents. Sometimes we would pop in on her and no matter what she was doing, she was ready for a great visit. Such a loving person! God bless her soul.
