Vunga Angakehe Masiva

Vunga Angakehe, a contractor for Kehe Concrete Inc. and Do it all construction, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2021 at the age of 44 while at home with his family in SLC, Ut.

Vunga is survived by his wife, Vika Angakehe Masiva; his children, Ngana E. Masiva, Tuinokelevu F. Masiva, Auhangamea J. Masiva, and Aisea C. Masiva.

Vunga was born in Ha'ateiho, Tonga on February 28, 1977 to Tevita Vunga Masiva and Finau Makelesi Masiva. He graduated from Horizonte high-school and began his career in residential construction as well and commercial construction soon after. On March 10, 1998 he married Vika, who worked as a tax commissioner. From 1998 to 2004 he welcomed his three sons and daughter whom he loved dearly.

Vunga was a devoted father and loved to spend time with his family. He loved taking his boat to the lake and playing chess with his sons. He enjoyed singing songs for his family while they went on joy rides. He loved to eat delicious foods with his friends and family. He was also a very intelligent problem solver and leader. He was a pastor who loved to read the Bible and was devoted to God. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A funeral is scheduled for 8 am on September 20 at the Redwood Cemetery and Mortuary. His brother, Ngana Masiva will officiate.
