Our loving mother, sister, Nana, Mayma, and friend, Vikki Lee Prudden, age 72, peacefully passed away on the evening of October 3, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born on December 25, 1950, in Subic Bay, Philippines to Charles Burnard Thompson and Natti Mattix ne Natividad De Los Santos.

Being a “navy brat”, Vikki lived in many places, but her long-time homes were in Utah and Southern California. Most of Vikki’s career was spent in Television and Production. She worked for various producers and television projects such as Imagine John Lennon Movie, Motown, Happy Days Reunion Special, and Disney’s D TV Valentine’s Special. While working at KTLA, Vikki met Sanford “Sandy” Prudden. They were married in 1976 and raised three amazing children together: Marco, Tania, and Misty, as well as her three stepchildren, Lance, Cher, and Mace. In 1992 Vikki and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she went to work for NEC Group in consumer event production where she made lifelong friends, and spent the rest of her working career.

Vikki’s biggest passion in life was Genealogy. She uncovered family trees for over 47 years and was excited by every new discovery she made. Another passion in her life was her faith. Vikki was a devout Christian, and her faith was a very important part of her life. She was a long-standing member of The Adventure Church. Family was also so important to Vikki. She was a cheer and football mom for 16 years with the Northridge Knights and was the community mom and grandma to all of the stray kids her family would bring home. Vikki also helped found the M.A.R.C. Organization in Southern California to help combat rising crime rates.
