She was born in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico on August 25, 1972 to Victorio Naranjo and Maria Del Carmen Gomez. She was second to youngest of 4 children. Much of her family knew her by “Pati” and others knew her as “Vero” through work, church or other social settings. To her kids, she was their “Patito” and her husband’s “Corazon”.

To say she was a great mom and wife would be an understatement. Her love was boundless, and her heart was bigger than could be measured. No matter what she was going through, she always managed to be there for others. It did not matter if you were family or friends, if you were close to her, you got to benefit from all of her generosity; cooking, singing, jokes, tequila and dancing! She was full of life and always ready for a party.

Her favorite thing she loved to do was spend time with her family in any sort of setting. Relaxing at the lake, enjoying a long picnic in the mountains, lounging at a park, sitting in her yard having some cold beers, bouncing from store-to-store shopping for bargains or just at home piled up on the couch watching movies while the only dog she ever loved, Canelo. Another favorite and instantaneous thing she enjoyed doing was dancing and or singing to any upbeat music such as Cumbia, Banda and Mariachi. Add some beers and tequila shots to this music and that was her 100 percent!

One of her big accomplishments was being able to finish high school and get her high school diploma at a young age while raising two young kids. Recently some of her biggest accomplishments was finding a great job (at Merit Medical) that suited her and her family’s needs and buying a home again to comfortably spend her time with her family and host celebrations with her friends.

She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her playfulness and kind and generous heart. Her love for music and dancing will continue with her kids and husband, making sure they never miss out on a baile and dancing the night away.

Thank you for being the best mom and wife and friend to everyone that crossed your path. We all will forever love you.

Veronica leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother; her husband, Jose Arturo Pedraza; her 3 children, Liliana (31), Arturo M (28). and Giovanni Perez (17). As well as her siblings, Hector Naranjo, Luis Naranjo and Silvia Naranjo and their kids, Hector Jr., Bianca, Itzel, Michelle, Danny and Alondra. She is preceded in death by her loving father.
