Verna B Robinson

Verna B. Robinson, our loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother returned home to her Heavenly Father and to be with her eternal companion Darald on October 24, 2022. She was born on May 14, 1926 in Pocatello, Idaho along with a twin brother Vern. A daughter of Cluff and Lila Bloxham. She married Darald N. Robinson on January 11, 1948 and the marriage was solemnized on January 11, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her loving companion preceded her in death on November 23, 2006. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She did much service for her family, friends, and her church. She worked many voluntary hours at Pioneer Hospital and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed square dancing for many years with her husband and made many wonderful friends. She also enjoyed many friends in her condo. She loved to sew and make Afghans. She loved to golf and was a big Jazz fan. She worked for JC Penny’s for many years and as an office manager for Material Handling.

She is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter. Randy Robinson (Vicky), Rod Robinson (Connie), and Pamela Dee Kerby (Rick). She also had 3 wonderful brothers, her twin brother Vern Bloxham, Mont Bloxham, Dean Bloxham, and her sister June Morrison, she had 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11:00 to 11:45 AM. Funeral services will be held following the viewing at 12:00 noon at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah
