Vera LaRee Sandoval

May 14, 1937 Sep 17, 2020

Our dear Mother, LaRee Sandoval passed away peacefully and quietly in her home, on September 17th surrounded by her children. She was born Vera LaRee Jensen on May 14th, 1937 in Magna Utah, to parents Iner and Vera Jensen. She married the love of her life, Samuel Sandoval, on July 23rd, 1955. Together they made a home in Kearns and raised seven children. They celebrated 62 years of marriage and it gives us great comfort to know that they are together again.

She was a passionate, loving mother and grandmother. Nothing made her happier than to hear the news of a new grandbaby on the way. She had the ability to make every one of us feel a special connection to her.

She was a hard worker and was proud of teaching elementary students for over 30 years, impacting countless lives with her patient tender care. LaRee was generous to a fault, always caring for others.

Mom loved nothing more than starting her day with a cup of coffee and an old black & white western. Her family loved her cooking and we all had our favorite's, but we could easily agree her Halloween chili, Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas morning breakfasts were highlights of the year.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Norma, Verna & Veown, husband Sam Sandoval, daughter Robyn LaRee Sandoval Olschesky, granddaughter Kristi Leigh Sandoval, grandson Justin Keith Jones

She is survived by her brother Kent (Betty) Madsen, children: Steve (Julianne) Sandoval, Chris (Debbie) Sandoval, Michael Sandoval, Larry Sandoval, Colleen Sandoval Salaz, David (Chasity) Sandoval. (Bob Olschesky), 19 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren and counting.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions a private immediate family service will be held in her honor. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery 6500 S Redwood Road.
