Todd Snow Richardson

Todd Snow Richardson, 64, of Salt Lake City, UT, passed away on January 5, 2024, in his home with his loving wife by his side.

Born on September 8, 1959, Todd was a beloved son of William and Marilyn Richardson. He grew up in Salt Lake City and had a wonderful childhood filled with adventure, mischief and an exceptional group of friends. He served in the South Buenos Aires Argentina Mission and fell in love with the culture, language and people.

Todd was also a brilliant student and he knew early on he wanted to be an attorney. He achieved this goal promptly after returning home from his mission, completing his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Puget Sound by the age of 25. He was incredibly passionate about his career in law, starting his own law firm where he practiced until June of 1998.

In 1980, Todd met the love of his life, Rosalyn Teerlink, and together they shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. They have five wonderful children and four (soon to be five) wonderful grandchildren. They built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a devoted parent and grandparent, he always put his family first. He taught perseverance, kindness and many, many dad jokes.

Todd was a person of many interests and talents. He loved music, singing and local community theater, often taking lead roles in local productions. He absolutely loved the outdoors, especially recreational sports such as snow skiing, water skiing, fishing and hunting. He was also a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

His life took a dramatic turn after he sustained a near fatal brain injury in his late thirties. Despite his injury leaving him with permanent disability, he became known for his positive attitude and graciousness.

Todd is survived by his mother Marilyn; his wife Rosalyn; his children Tera, Amy, Jill, T.J. and Wade; his grandchildren; and his siblings Sharmon, Neil and Carol. He was preceded in death by his father William.

A celebration of Todd's life will be held on January 9, 2024, at 1930 S 2100 E, Salt Lake City, from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on January 10, 2024, at 1930 S 2100 E, Salt Lake City at 11 AM. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and honoring his legacy.
