Thomas Webb was born on New Years Day in 1943 to Glenn Dean and Mary Elaine Stanley Webb. He is the first born and has 3 sisters: Juanita Jones, Janie Slack & Elaine Stilson. He grew up on the farm in Tabiona, Utah and moved to Kearns, Utah when he was a teenager with his family. He graduated from Granger High School and attended Weber State College. He was married at a young age and had 2 daughters Julie and Mary. That marriage ended and he was not able to raise his young daughters which was always hard for him. He met the love of his life DeAnn Caplinger in August of 1965 at a book bindery job, they were married that November. Their first-born daughter was born in November 1966 Becky DeAnn Webb Griffiths (Tony) their sons both born in August of 1968 and 1969, Thomas Glen Webb - deceased (Terina) and Charles Warren Webb. He had 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He had numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He loved many people, and many people loved him. His wife passed in August 2022 from a long battle of breast cancer, he was devastated. He was in pain and started to become weak, we thought it was grief however he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. He passed away on June 8th, 2023, in his daughter's home surrounded by family.

Dad and Mom raised their family on a farm in Draper, they taught us how to be self-sufficient and gave us ethics and morals to live by. Dad had many hobbies, he loved working with wood and made so many things especially toys for the grandkids. He boarded and broke horses for others, he loved working with horses, he was a jockey and also ran chariots. He was also part of a project protecting and caring for wild horses in Utah. He worked at the Utah State Prison as a guard during our youngest years growing up, he became a Utah State Probation Officer. When he retired from the State Job he and mom went on many adventures they traveled all over seeing what attractions and sights they could. They would leave and not tell anyone where they were going, which of course worried us. (They got scolded plenty). Dad went back to work as a Case Manager with a Federal Halfway House, and when he retired from that job he was the Assistant Facility Director. He enjoyed making beer and wine, growing and canning fruits and vegetables. He loved all things horticulture and birds of all sorts. He loved spending time outside in his garden. One of his most cherished past times was fishing. He would spend every available opportunity to cast out his line, Tommy was his favorite fishing partner and he did not fish again after his death. (They are both fishing together right now for sure). He was the world's greatest Grandpa and cherished all his grandkids, they brought a smile to his face. He was a special person to many and will truly be missed. Love You Daddy. 💗
