Tim Schieving passed away at his home in Kearns, Utah, on April 8, 2021, at the age of 93. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 22, 1928, to Jacobus Johannes and Jannetje Adriana Schieving. Tim served in the US Navy during WWII on the Pacific Front.

Tim married Constance (Connie) A. Saxey on June 4, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 23, 1953. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years, retiring in 1989.

Tim and Connie enjoyed traveling for 29 years in their fifth wheel trailer with their RV Club, The Beehive Roamers.

Tim is survived by his wife, Connie, children Christina (John) Simmons, Dennis, Kathlene Hopkins, Mark (Barbara), son-in-law Reinhard Franz, 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren on the way, and many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Franz, his parents, and his siblings Effie (Art) Hudson, Johanna Chatelain, Bus (Bobbie), Hy (Evelyn), Mary (Jack) Owens, and John (Gert).

Viewing including facemasks and appropriate distancing for family and friends will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 13, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. A graveside service for family will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT.
