Teresa Leonard Swayne passed away on September 29, 2021 in Siawassee, Michigan at the age of 65. She was born on February 4, 1956 in Santa Monica, CA to June and Leon Leonard. She married Darren Swayne on April 19, 1997.
She made costumes for the Jazz Bear and many other high school mascots. Teresa was the BEST at Karaoke. She loved music from Tony Bennett to Tupac. She graduated from Cottonwood High School where she was in Field and Track. She was only 5’4”.
She is survived by Rodney and Catherine Fryer and Daniel Lockyer, her siblings. Also Nicholas VanQuill, Travis Lockyer; loving Nephews. And her loving in laws Richard and Lois Swayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darren Swayne; Brother in law, Jason Swayne; mother, June B. Leonard; Father, Leon Leonard; Brother, Roger Nelson and wife Joann Nelson; Sister in law, Margret Lockyer; and also her loving grandparents.
Funeral services will be held for her on October 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
