Susan had cerebral palsy, but she didn't let it limit her abilities. She taught herself how to ride a three wheeled bike, walk with crutches, and swim. She loved to go bowling and loved to do crafts.

She loved to go to Hartvigsen special needs school and then went on to Columbus Community Center where she worked in a sheltered workshop.

She loved her family and they meant the world to her. Susan loved spending time with her family and always asked when she would see them again. She also had many friends and made friends wherever she went.

Susan was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was able to accomplish her great desire of going through the temple. She loved going to the temple with her sister Sandra. It was her absolute favorite thing to do. Sandra was her only sibling and Susan loved her very much. Sandra was very caring and loving to Susan and spent quality time with Susan throughout her whole life.

Susan's smile was known to be infectious and could light up a room along with her laughter and squeal. Susan was known to be quite the tease, always telling us "Happy Birthday" and "Happy New Year" anytime of the year.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Beagley, and her sister Sandra (Ron) Derfler; her nieces and nephews, Michelle (Jeff) Anhder, Sean (Jamie) Derfler, Melanie (Shawn) Parker, Micah (Samantha) Derfler, and Shane (Kim) Derfler; 16 great nieces and nephews, 2 great, great nieces and 1 great, great nephew.

She is preceded in death by her father Glen Beagley and her grandparents.

Oh my sweet beautiful cousin. You only have to close your eyes and hear her beautiful laughter in your mind.

Edith and Sandra, what an incredible family you are. We love the three of you without measure.

God be with you.
