Bud passed away on April 21st from complications related to diabetes. He loved sports and could talk for hours about his beloved Lakers and Raiders, he had the heart of a champion and never let you forget he won. Bud will always be remembered for his contagious smile, laugh and bone crushing hugs. He lived most of his life in the south valley area and attended Alta High School. He worked at Swire Coca Cola in Draper, UT for 20 years, he loved his job and the people he worked with. Bud was the most caring, thoughtful and loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Dawn Udy, his sisters; JoDee (Chris) Ryan and Alicia Mickelson; his brother, Mike (Heidi) Mickelson; his nephews, Brandon, Chase and Chance; his nieces; Bailey, Shayne and Kori, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who deeply cared for him. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Lisa Storz and his beloved dogs, Jack and Max.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marci Jo Kueffner Udy; his Grandma & Grandpa Udy; his uncles Wayne Udy and Dave Udy; his cousins, Chuck Udy, Clint Udy and James Udy.

Due to the world-wide Covid 19 pandemic, there will be no services at this time. A private family viewing and prayer service was held on April 22nd. We will hold a celebration of his life later this summer when social distancing restrictions are lifted. Bud will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah.
