Skylee Zane Kerbs, 15, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on November 16, 2023, in South Jordan. Skylee was born on October 24, 2008, and was the beloved daughter of Josh Martinez and April Tonneson. She was also lovingly raised by her adoptive parents, Annette and Ben Kerbs.

Skylee was a sweet and talented individual who had a passion for athletics, particularly volleyball. Her athleticism and skill on the court were truly remarkable. Skylee's dedication and love for the sport were evident to all who had the pleasure of watching her play.

In addition to her athletic abilities, Skylee had a kind and gentle nature. She touched the lives of those around her with her warmheartedness and genuine compassion. Skylee's presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Skylee is survived by her biological father, Josh Martinez, her biological mother, April Tonneson, her adoptive mother/grandmother, Annette, her uncle Bryce Kerbs, her brothers Zach, Adam, Rocky, and sister Riley Kerbs and Grandparents, Bill and Gai Kerbs. She was also cherished by her aunt Megan Dougherty (Forrest), uncle Chris Martinez, and grandmother Marianne Olsen, affectionately known as "Grams." Skylee was preceded in death by her father, Ben Kerbs. Skylee will also be missed by many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A candlelight vigil will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the LDS chapel located at 10168 S 1110 W South Jordan, Utah, to honor Skylee's memory. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and celebrating her life. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, to provide comfort and support to those closest to Skylee during this difficult time.

Skylee's departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her spirit will live on through the love and memories shared by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
