Sione Foliaki Toutai Sr.

Sione Foliaki Toutai, age 58, died on November 12, 2020. He was born on January 16, 1962 in Ha’akame, Tongatapu, Tonga to Tevita Tonga and Susana Auhangamea Toutai. He married Haisini Aho Pome’e on September 12, 1985.

Sione loved to sing and play cards. In his younger years, he was a great brick and stone mason.

He is survived by his wife Haisini Aho Pome’e Toutai, sons Sione Foiaki Toutai Jr. (Chantilly) and Tautalanoa Hetohiamahe (Mohokoi); sisters Tiona, Loloma, Ana, and brothers Sione Naniseni, Tuimana, Finepolo, and Monisoni.

Sione is preceded in death by his parents Tevita Tonga and Susana Auhangamea Toutai, daughter Seini Toa Filimoeunga, brothers Salesi, Samisoni, Lilifi Sosaieti, Tomasi, and sister Na’a.

A family service will be held Friday, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at 3300 South 4440 West, West Valley City, Utah with a funeral service to follow from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM at the same location. Interment to follow service at Elysian Gardens in Millcreek, Utah.

In compliance with Governor Herbert’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all services. Social distancing will be enforced.
