Shirley was born in SLC, UT. She was the oldest of 10 children. She had a love for animals, babies (especially grandbabies) and helping people. She was crafty and she shared her crafts with those around her. She helped those in need, often giving of her time and resources. She will be greatly missed!

The family wishes to thank the nurses and care takers at Pineview Assisted Living in Eden for their constant care and love. They would also like to thank the hospices nurse who helped her so much in her final months.

Shirley suffered from many health issues all of her life. She is an example of patience, endurance, and long suffering. As stated in 2 Timothy, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.

Shirley Lynn is survived by her 3 children, Andrew Hansen, Amanda Delaura (Marcus), Amber Kentworthy (Justin). Her grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, Isabelle, Elavee, Kikae and Jaxen. Her mother, Ethel Hawkes. Her siblings Anne Taylor (Rick), Matthew Hawkes (Jennifer), David Hawkes (Sadie), Paul Hawkes (Megan), Chris Hawkes (Kristy), Timothy Hawkes (Katelin), Noah Hawkes (Ashley) and Julie Maughan (Matthew). And Many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased in death by her grandparents, her father (Thomas A Hawkes, Jr) her brother (Thomas A Hawkes, III) and her nephew (Joshua Thomas Taylor).

A graveside service will be held at the SLC

cemetery at 10:00 AM, June 16, 2021.
