On August 5, 2022, we lost our sweet mama, Sherry Ann Nay. She was born on June 18, 1951, in Silver Fork, Utah to Frederick Dolphine and Beverly June Lundgren Nay.
She was a fighter to her very last breath. Our comfort was knowing her daddy was there with open arms.
She proudly graduated from Jordan High School in 1969. Tons of yearbook signings proved that she was a groovy lady.
Sherry always valued her family more than anything. She wrote poems and letters about how much they meant to her. The most important thing to her was family. She made sure we had Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve together. Every holiday was special to her, and she went above and beyond to do that; even dressing up on Halloween with her kids!
She loved to learn and do new things. One of her favorite things was painting and free-hand sketching.
She drew so many beautiful pictures, and we are blessed to have them and pass them on. Sherry will be missed and loved for all time and eternity.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Jonathan) Shaw, Autumn Ottley; son, Nathan (Sabrina) Ottley; mother, Beverly; brother, Charles Nay; sister, Fern Smith; grandchildren, Sharise, Jerald, and Braylee Brundage, Brooke, Ben, Brielle, Kaizlee and Benson Dirks, Brock, April, Rowan, and Theo Ottley and Cole Thomas; as well as tons of other family whom she cherished more than anything.
