Loving wife of 50 years Shauna Jo Bartlett Clegg, 69, passed away suddenly on December 5th, 2020 in West Jordan, UT.
Shauna was born on February 14th, 1951 in Salt Lake City, UT to William and Jo Anne Bartlett.
She graduated from Skyline High School in 1969.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many callings within the church. Her last and most recent calling with the primary was her favorite.
She married her eternal companion, Darrel Clegg, on April 9th, 1970 in the Salt Lake Temple. Shauna was an avid Utah Utes fan. She enjoyed traveling with her kids and grandkids. She loved scrapbooking, watching movies, going out to eat, and taking long drives with her husband. Shauna was extremely proud of the family she created with Darrel.
She loved her 3 sons and 2 daughters and all 11 of her grandchildren immensely.
Shauna is preceded in death by her parents, William and Jo Anne Bartlett and her grandson, Jacob Hutcheson.
She is survived by her loving husband Darrel; 3 sons and 2 daughters: Lance (Barbara) Clegg, Tiffany Marath, William (Heather) Clegg, Amber Owens, Andrew (Annie) Clegg;
10 grandchildren: Miranda, Megan, Braxton, Noah, Anna Caite, Jackson, Hayley, Joshua, Madison, Braydon; and 2 brothers, Steve (Mary) Bartlett and Russell (Melissa) Bartlett.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday December 10, 2020 at the Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday December 9, 2020 and Thursday December 10, 2020 from 1:00 – 1:45 pm prior to the services. Due to covid restrictions attendance at the funeral service will be by invitation only, however, you may join the services via zoom with the instructions listed below. If you plan to attend the viewing, please know that masks and social distancing is required.

Shauna and all our friends in the Primary class in 1962
Shauna and I were visiting teaching partners and friends for quite some time in the Welby Ward. After she moved, we would meet once a month for lunch, to stay in touch and continue our friendship. She was a delight and had a heart of gold.
