Shaun Keith Hintze

Shaun K. Hintze passed away Sept. 10, 2022 doing a double backflip into Flaming Gorge Reservoir- Horseshoe Canyon. He would say “ If you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much stinking room.”

He was born Nov. 8, 1986 ; then grew up in Kearns and Fairview. He rocked it at everything, including being a dad, snowboarding, diving, dirt biking, cooking, hacky sack, trampoline, horseshoes, working on cars, helping people, frisbee golf, having a fun time, and of course, the mosh pit!

He loved time with his buddies playing cornhole, going shooting, fishing and playing pool. He enjoyed traveling to Wendover and being the exciting one in any crowd. He worked as a framer, gardener and doing landscape construction. He spent his best years in their family landscape company in Park City. He is survived by his lifelong companion, Mary and his three children, Evan, Haley and Kyle. "I'm not meant for the world; I'm meant to change it " Other survivors include his mom, Julie Kumor; his dad, Duane Hintze; brother, Joey Hintze; and sisters, Mandi Lemus, Brittney Hintze, and Tiffany Hintze. He was so close with the Stilson family. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Marliene and Keith Llewellyn, as well as countless friends, and snicker the snake.

Services will be held Friday Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery. Be prepared to tell some stories about his life and HUGE personality.
