February 24, 1938 – February 22, 2021

Sandra Sue Eddy Brown, 82, of Draper, Utah passed away peacefully in her home in the early hours of February 22, 2021 as a result of chronic illness. Sandy was born in Wooster, Ohio, February 24, 1938 to parents Roderick Newton Eddy and Irma Jane Rhamy Eddy. Sandy’s parents divorced when she was young, and after graduating from Wooster High, Sandy moved to California with her mom.

Sandy married “Doc” Henry and had two children. As a Navy family, they moved around, then settled in Reno, Nevada where they later divorced. Sandy met and married Larry Brown who had 3 children of his own. A few years after marrying Larry, she had one more child. Sandy became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints in 1971 and served faithfully in various positions while living in Nevada, Utah and Oregon.

Sandy and her family moved to Salt Lake where they lived for about 10 years and then as empty nesters, they moved to Reedsport, Oregon where she lived for over 20 years. A few years after Larry passed away in 2011, Sandy moved back to Utah to be near family for the last 5 years of her life.

During her lifetime, Sandy worked for various companies in secretarial and administrative positions. Sandy and Larry enjoyed many vacations in their camper or trailer. Sandy had a love for fabrics. She was a master seamstress and also enjoyed quilting and cross stitch.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband Larry. Sandy is survived by her brothers Gene and Ed and her children: Amy (Al), Mike (Jori), Bob (Kerri), Lloyd, Kim (Mike) and Steve (Marci) as well as 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held February 27, 2021 at 11:00 am with a viewing one hour prior to services at Mountain View Mortuary; 3011 E 7800 S Cottonwood Heights with interment to follow. Services will also be Live-Streamed via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/8019430831
