Sandra Lee Harper

Sandra Lee Harper, age 84, passed away on July 6, 2022. She was born on July 28, 1937 in Ogden, Utah to Guy Malcolm Scott, and Mary Elizabeth (Bishop) Scott.

Sandra married Warren Alva Ransom II (deceased) on November 21, 1955. She later married Irvin W Harper (deceased) on February 13, 1975.

Sandra loved reading or watching anything about true crime, the gorier the better. She would get mad about the news and loved everything about nature. She was passionate about gardening and took great pride in her yard and her love of growing things. She was said to “have never been happier” to welcome a new family member into this life. She cooked for her family with lots of love. She will be greatly missed.

Survived by her sister Dorothy Harvey (Bob), son Guy Eugene Ransom, daughters Penny Harper and Wendy Askee, granddaughter Amelia Askee, granddaughter Marjorie Banks (Jason), and four great-grandchildren Elijah, Sariah, Noah and Aaliyah.

Preceded in death by sisters Barbara, Sharon and Mary Ellen. Son Warren Alva Ransom III, and grandson Aaron Ransom.

A celebration of her life will be held on July 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Southgate Ward located at 2702 South Main Street, South Salt Lake, Utah
