Our amazing and humble father, Sammy Murlin Kay, returned to the loving arms of those who were patiently waiting for him on November 9, 2022. He was an admirable son, husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. He loved to travel and spend time outdoors-never passing up time in his yard or taking a fishing or camping trip. Our dad was a coach and mentor to many and always considered it to be a blessing throughout his life. He'll be remembered for his strong personality, honesty, love for his family, and impeccable work ethic. He will be dearly missed by those who loved and knew him.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at 12:00pm at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123

I remember so many good times we had with Sam and family boating on Lake Powell and the friendship that Joe and I enjoyed with your family. Sorry we didn’t know about his passing would have loved to see you guys.
