Ruth L. Ridens, 81, of Salt Lake City, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Meadow Brook Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City. Born on July 19, 1942, in Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of the late Robert Steele and Alice Galbransen. She is survived by her husband Jerry Wayne Ridens, Sr. and son Jerry Wayne Ridens, Jr. She is also survived by her brother Mike Steele.

Before retiring, Ruth worked at the University of Utah Medical Center. She enjoyed watching soap operas and Hallmark movies, and she also loved watching sports, especially the Utah Jazz and NFL football.

She is predeceased by her sister, Joan Faulks, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
