Ronald Glen Strebel passed away unexpectedly September 29, 2020, after struggling for many years with health issues. He was born December 3, 1962 to Russell Strebel and Joyce Strebel Savage. Ron grew up in Sandy Utah where he attended Jordan High School, and was always a proud Beetdigger. He faithfully served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Florida/Tallahassee Mission. He married Kelly McMillen in the Salt Lake Temple on August 24, 1985. They are the parents of two sons. Kelly and Ron later divorced and Ron married Merry McBride on May 23, 2019. He was a kind and caring man who was always willing to go the extra mile to help others. His sense of humor and outgoing personality allowed him to make friends easily. Once you met him he never forgot you. He was a hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit, always tinkering and looking for the next big idea, and his holiday sugar cookies were legendary.
Ron is survived by his mother, Joyce Savage; wife Merry; sons Brandon (Jessica), Marcus; brothers Kelly (Annette), Gerald (Suzanne); sister Kaylynn Moran, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Russell.
