Ronald David Johnson died unexpectedly after his hard fought battle with Covid on December 26th, 2021. Ron was 62 years old and born in Hyannis, MA. He is survived by his parents Randy and Vercille Johnson; his brothers Dave, Ed, Steve, Mike, and Don; his children Anna, Ali, Jessi, and Paul; his fiancé Carol Kirkham, and many grandchildren and friends.

Ron spoke fondly of his childhood growing up in Cape Cod, before moving out West where he studied Psychology at Utah State University. Ron joined the Marines and went on to serve as a military intelligence officer and Captain in the U.S. army. He was also fluent in French and served as a linguist and interpreter. He served honorably and was grateful for the opportunity to serve his country.

He loved to be active, travel the world, meet new people, dance, sing, play with his grandchildren, and tell fantastic stories. Ron was charismatic and found a way to connect to anyone he met. He was often the champion and greatest fan of those he loved. He was loved not only by his children and grandchildren but the children and grandchildren of his beloved fiancé Carol. He died during the most beautiful chapter of his life traveling, learning, meditating, drawing, working, and spending countless hours sharing his love with his ever expanding family and friends.
