Ronald “Ron” Eugene Schooley, 68, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on August 23, 2025. He was born on July 16, 1957, in Lancaster, Ohio.

Ron spent more than 20 years working as a bartender in Las Vegas before retiring. He enjoyed life in simple ways—being present with his loved ones, sharing laughter, outdoor adventures and finding joy in the everyday. Family and friends will remember him for his humor, easy going nature, kindness, and the love he shared throughout his life.

He is survived by his children, Hiedy Schooley, Angel Schooley, Shannon Jackson, Ryan Jensen, Kacey Schooley, Kristian Schooley and Kerri Schooley; his mother, Effie June Pugh; his siblings, Ray Schooley, Robert Schooley, Ginger LaVeck, and JuneAnn Tucker; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
