Ronald "Ron" Schouman

Ronald "Ron" Schouman, 82, passed away on October 16, 2026, in Draper, Utah. He was born on April 3, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to William and Verta Schouman.

Ron proudly served his country as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

An absolute lover of music, Ron was a lifelong musician who excelled at both the organ and piano and was proud to have played in the Tabernacle and in his many wards over the years.

He had a passion for sports, boats, and fast cars. He was an avid dog lover who shared his home with six dogs.

He is survived by his children, Christopher (Sandra) Schouman of Williamsville, N.Y., Michele Schouman Gac of Clarence, N.Y., Bryan (Kristi) Schouman of Provo, Utah, Derek (Kate) Schouman of Meridian, Idaho, and Josh (Jaleese) Schouman of Middleton, Idaho; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion; his parents, William and Verta; and his brother, Robert "Bob" Schouman
