Robyn was born October 10, 1969 in Santa Clara, California. She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah by John Duckett and Marlys (Teri) Brannan. She went to Taylorsville high school where she graduated in 1987. She was the mother to her son, Chase whom she loved with all her heart. Robyn lived in several places throughout her life but finally found her happy place in Greeley where she lived with her husband, Richard.

Robyn was passionate in all that she did, lived a life with no regrets, and was never afraid to tell you what was on her mind. She loved her family and friends with great devotedness and treasured celebrating the holidays, making sure there was always a spot at the table for those around her. Family was one of the most important things to Robyn and her heart was always welcoming of new members. She enjoyed spoiling her grandkids and was always excited to talk to them on the phone.

Robyn thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She would indulge in hours of conversation with those that were dear to her. She always knew how to have a good time and had a special passion for motorcycles. Robyn loved her Harleys and not only was her house decorated with them, but her Yorkie was named in their honor. She loved her Yorkies, Davi and their newest addition to the family, Emma. Her exuberant laugh and passion for life will be greatly missed.

Robyn was preceded in death by her father, John Duckett, her mother Teri Brannan, and her brother Todd Gilmer.

Robyn is survived by her husband, Richard Smout, her son Chase Brannan (Breanna) and her grandchildren, Temperance and Jonathan, her siblings Debi Taylor (Mark), Tony Rehan (Kim), and Mary Rager, and many nieces and nephews, her stepmom Penny Meier, her best friend Cory Pope, and her lifelong family friends Sharon and Bob Montgomery.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at The Lit’l Bit Bar & Grill at 3620 35th Avenue, in Evans, Colorado, on March 27th, from 4pm-??. All are welcome to attend, including kids who will have to leave at 9pm.

If you have any questions, please Facebook message Debi Taylor or Mary Rager and they will answer you as soon as they can.
