Robert White was born June 2, 1947, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Viola and Edward White Jr. He was the fifth child of six children. Robert passed away quietly at home after a battle with a long illness on January 5, 2021.

Robert graduated from South High School and went on to become an S5 sergeant in the Marines. He served three years and fought in the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he went to work at the Timpanogos Youth Department of Corrections Center, which was one of his passions. He later went to work at Isuzu, where he was salesman of the year and received an award.

Robert was funny! He had a big heart. Everyone loved him. He would help anyone who needed help and would give them the shirt off his back if they needed it. He loved to travel, cook, and work with the youth.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Arthur and Theodus White, and one sister, Lela Mae Davidson. He is survived by two brothers, Ivory (Veaster) White and Donnie (Gwen) White, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on June 2, 2021, at Camp Williams, with full military honors.
