Robert Stump – beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who endured to the end was called home on November 15, 2020 at the age of 85 to his Heavenly Father. Bob was born on November 10, 1935, in Red Bank, Tennessee, to his father, Charles Leonard Stump and his mother, Eva Rowena Barker.

Bob served his country in the U.S. Army and was assigned to Fort Bliss during the Korean War. He worked as a civilian at Hill Air Force Base for over 37 years. Bob was married to the love of his life, Arlyne J. Milligan on September 1, 1960; later sealed in the Bountiful Utah Temple in 1997. Bob and Arlyne had three children – Christopher (deceased), Diane, and David. Bob was a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who shared a strong testimony and witness of his conversion the remainder of his life.

Bob was known for his sharp intellect, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was also an avid classical music lover. Bob loved to learn about art, cultures, religion, philosophy, history, and political science. He and Arlyne loved to travel. He loved his family more than anyone could imagine. He instilled in his family values of integrity, compassion, and doing good to others.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Arlyne Joann Milligan; son, Christopher H. Stump; father, Charles L. Stump; his mother, Eva R. Barker; his sister Dorothy Dean Stump; and his brother, James Arwine Stump. Bob is survived by his daughter, Diane Scull; son, David (Celia) Stump; and four grandchildren, Makayla Scull, David, Michael, and Daniel Stump.

Family may attend his viewing November 21, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Bountiful Maple Hills Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am.
