Robert Randall “Randy” Sutton, 63, of Xenia, OH returned home to his Heavenly Father on March 9, 2022 with his wife by his side. Randy was born on March 27, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert Morley and Elizabeth Ann Sutton. Randy graduated from East High School in 1976 and went on to attend University of Utah graduating in 1983 with a degree in Finance. He was happily married to and is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela “Pam” Sutton. Randy was a devoted family man and proud father of five boys; Parker Sutton (Lynsie), Nick Sutton (Ashley), Spencer Sutton (Rebecca), Tyler Sutton, Josh Sutton (Ryan). He was known and adored as Grandpa and Poppa Bink to seven grandchildren. Randy was one of five siblings; Suzanne Nowels (Michael), Robyn Sutton, George Sutton (Annie) and was preceded in death by Ward Sutton (Marie).Randy was an avid golfer and outdoorsman who loved the mountains, bird watching, camping and fishing. He also enjoyed wood working, cheering on the Utah Utes, playing catch with his lab Tonk, and could beat anyone at trivia. He was a hard worker, achieving a successful career in Fraud and Security Management with several banks, most recently with Synchrony Financial. He left a lasting impression on all those that worked for and with him. He had the rare ability to maintain and promote a calm environment even in the highest of pressure situations and was able to lighten any mood. Randy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoyed serving others through his many church callings. He had a servant heart; meeting everyone with kindness, grace, love and friendship. Randy meant a lot to many people and was loved by everyone that knew him. His favorite scripture was 3 John 1:4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth”. This was a scripture personally shared to he and his boys by Thomas S. Monson.

A viewing for Randy will be held on March 22, 2022 at Larkin Sunset Lawn at 2350 E 1300 S in Salt Lake City from 6pm to 8pm. Graveside services will be held the next day, March 23, 2022 at the same location at 11am with a viewing one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make an appointment to donate blood, if able. Randy was so grateful for blood donors.
