Robert Stanley Hagendorf, age 78, passed away on February 8, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on April 11, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Albert and Cecelia Hagendorf. He married April Williams Hagendorf on July 10, 1992.

Robert served his country in Vietnam, 1st division Marines, and received a Purple Heart. After the war, he continued to serve his country in the FBI for 25 years, which brought him here to Utah. He enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing, studying, world traveling, and organ lessons.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, April, nieces Jeanine DiPretoro (Raymond), Susan Colella, nephew Thomas Vickers (Donna), stepdaughter, Brittany Blair, sister, Jean Vickers (Tom), and his grandchildren Amanda Anderson (Weston), and Christopher Luke (Nikki), and his four great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Reverend Thomas A. Hagendorf, O.Praem, nephew Mark Vickers, (all whom reside in Philadelphia.)

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM with a Friends and Family Gathering beginning at 10:00 AM prior at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Interment to follow at the same location.

Due to the landscape of COVID-19, all gatherings inside of the mortuary are limited to no more than 50 at a time. Please join the family for the gathering at 10:00 AM, but the family encourages extended friends and family to join via live stream from your own home via Zoom.
