Robert Elmer Fitzpatrick, 86, passed away on August 27, 2020. He was born September 6, 1933 in New Jersey to Elmer Henry and Grace Fitzpatrick. He married his true love, Joan, on August 8, 1953, and they just celebrated their 67 year anniversary. They had two sons, Robert and Brian (Kathy). One of Robert’s main joys in life was his grandchildren; D. Kenny Barker, Breanne, Brian Jr., and Bobby.

Robert served for four years in the United States Navy. He also worked at the NASA Space Center in Houston, Texas, retrieving data from the Apollo flights. He later retired from Rocky Mountain Power.

He had many hobbies including becoming a certified private pilot, boating, camping, cruises, and drinking a can of beer by the campfire.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior at Memorial Mountain View located at 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.
