Rhea retired from Defense Depot Ogden as a civil servant and instilled a strong work ethic in her children. As a depression era survivor she learned the value of an honest day’s work and the need to stay active. She was involved in her church serving in many positions during her life.

Her biggest joy in life was being with her three children, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The young ones always put a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She enjoyed camping, crafting, gardening and was often found playing pinochle with friends and family to keep her math skills sharp.

Guestbook

I was lucky enough to meet Rhea, when I was brought to Utah by my Husband Bruce Litz. He was a nephew of Rhea and Morris, Marvin's oldest boy. We came to meet Grandpa Litz (Grover) to bring our children to meet him, the aunts and uncles. Rhea was a big part of that time. She was always inclusive, funny, sassy, and made me welcome.

I am sorry for the loss of Rhea, but am so happy that she was here for so many as an example.

Hello all,

I am so sad she passed away. She is a great lady with full of fun stories to share. I will cherish her memories and I will pray for her soul to rest in peace. I would love to come see her but I am not sure if I am welcome. I really feel my feet are bound. My hearty condolences to the family and may they coup well with this loss. Love you grandma Litz.
