Ramona Thea Wiece

Ramona Thea van Dongen Wiece, age 75, passed away July 26, 2023. She was born July 1, 1948, in Rotterdam, Holland to Hendriksje van Dongen and Theodorus van Dongen. It is difficult to express our sorrow. Momma was just beautiful inside and out, she would sacrifice her own needs to help others, and never discriminated. Everyone enjoyed being around her. Nature was her favorite place to be, especially camping and fishing at Currant Creek. She had a love for wildlife and science fiction. She was a strong, kindhearted, funny lady with an amazing spirit. She was not above voicing her thoughts without a filter. She was feisty yet playful and childlike. She enjoyed her sweets and pastries, loved veggies and berries, zoute drops and coffee. She preferred to be barefoot as much as possible. She had a most beautiful voice and loved to sing....reminded us of Cher. Momma was always up for a good laugh and happy. She loved the Utah Jazz. Visiting Momma gave us the best feeling! Momma, you will be so greatly missed. Your smile, kisses and hugs were the best. We will cherish them always. You leave a hole in our hearts too big to fill, and we are hurting without you. We know you are in a better place now and the pain is no longer. Please watch over us with your family and keep us safe. We promise to do right by you and keep our family close. We will never forget you! You are in our hearts forever and always! Mama, we houden zoveel van je! Heel veel knuffels en kusjes tot we je weer zien.

Ramona is survived by 7 children - Stephanie Parsons, Perth (Australia), Debra Parsons (Utah), Chris Gardner (Utah), Kishia Cohee (Georgia), Jamecca Cohee (Wisconsin), Dawn Barker and Simon Barker, 14 grandchildren- Cody, Remington, Angel, Arion, Julionna, Zion, Loyalty, Jordan, Journey, Kevin, Jack, Robbie, Paul, Sydney and two great-granddaughters Saryia and Jamaya.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Arthur Lee (AJ) Cohee, Jr.

As per Momma's wishes, a private service will be held.
