Penny Hoar Neumann passed away on January 30, 2023, in Murray, Utah. She was born on September 16, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Vern Robert and Veneta Durrant Hoar. Penny loved to crochet and knit and enjoyed quilting. She taught Primary for many years, loved serving others, and loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

Penny is survived by her husband Dennis and three of her children and their families: Michael & Lillian and their children Randy, Christina, Crystal, and Caylee, Lisa & Howard and their son Adam, and James & Monica and their children Ashton and Jaxon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern Robert and Veneta Durrant Hoar, her beloved sister Christie Hoar, and her daughter Valeree Jean Neumann.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 4, from 10:00-11:45 AM at the Jordan North 6th Ward, 4100 S. Bangerter Highway, West Valley City. A service will follow at noon. Interment will take place at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park on Monday, February 6, at noon.
