Our beloved Mother and Grandmother Pauline Alder Kuder passed away at her home with her family on Saturday February 19, 2022. She was born to Gail and Rhea Alder in Manti, Utah on December 12, 1948.

She is survived by her children Tami Evans (Greg), Brandon Kuder (Thamsin), grandchildren Matthew Evans (Keirra), Austin Evans (Shay), Zachary Evans, Sophia Kuder & Aiden Evans and by great grandchildren Scarlet & Alayna Evans, Sister Barbara O’Keefe (Vince), niece Aubree Georgescu (Andi), nephew James O’Keefe, great niece Everly Georgescu and Brother & Sister in-laws, nieces, nephews & cousins. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Wallace Kuder lll and her parents Gail & Rhea Alder.

Pauline moved to Ely when she was five years old, she grew up participating in numerous clubs & organizations in school. She was a cheer leader, student council and the high school band where she played the trumpet. She was First Attendant in the Miss White Pine County pageant. Pauline received a scholarship to Stevens Henager College in Salt Lake City; she was elected to the Student Council there and she earned her associate degree. Pauline met Clyde while attending college and they were married November 8, 1969. Clyde & Pauline moved to Lake Tahoe, California in 1970 with Clyde’s brother Dan and his wife at the time Beverly. They had two children Tami & Brandon. In 1978 they moved to West Jordan, Utah where they lived for 44 years.

Pauline worked & retired from the State of Utah in Social Services. Pauline loved watching Brandon play baseball, traveling to watch him play and getting to know the players & their parents. She loved being in the mountains camping & boating. She talked often about the many trips to Flaming Gorge. Clyde & Pauline were able to spend winters from 2009-2015 in Lake Havasu recreating and enjoying retirement with new friends.

Pauline loved her grandchildren and being a grandma was a highlight of her life. She had a unique relationship with each of the kids and she was so proud of them. She found immense joy in becoming a Great Grandma to Scarlet & Alyana and a Great Aunt to Everly. She would light up whenever they were around. Pauline loved Clyde’s family, loved having them to visit in Lake Tahoe & here in West Jordan. She loved her brother & sister in-laws, all of nieces and nephews and often talked a reminisced about the time spent with them.

Clyde & Pauline created a wonderful life for themselves and their family.

Funeral services will be held at Redwood Memorial Estates at 2:00pm Saturday March 05, 2022, with friends & family calling from 1pm-2pm. Interment will follow services at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery 6500 Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT 84123.
