Pat is a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and great friend to so many.

Pat was adopted as a toddler, and was a very happy youngster, he lived his life in Holliday Utah where he met and fell in love with Beverlee Bullock, Pat and Bev were married in 1961.

Pat started working for S. L. County in his late teens, it was the only job that he ever knew, and where he formed many long-lasting relationships, retiring in 1999.

Pat proved to us over and over again that he had a big heart, he and Bev gave so much of their substance to help others, and for that we are truly grateful!

Pat was a very likable man with a great sense of humor, he was well kept and of sound mind. He had a soft spot for dogs, old westerns, oldies music and classic cars. Pat’s garage was his home away from home.

Pat was a real car enthusiast, from a very young age he truly enjoyed working on and being around cars, which allowed Pat to associate with great people who shared his same enthusiasm for them.

Throughout the years Pat and Bev attended countless car shows, rod runs, swap meets and much much more. Pat loved cars!

However, Pat had the deepest love and adoration for his beautiful wife Beverlee.

Beverlee’s health declined in the spring of 2013 and Pat spent most of his days and so many nights at Bev’s bedside in multiple hospitals and care centers in the hopes of taking her back to her own home to live out their retirement together.

But as fate would have it, Pat lost the Love of his life and wife of 55 years on Thanksgiving Day of 2016. These past 3 plus years have been very hard for Pat to carry on without Bev in his life, still Pat drove on, and with the help of family and friends was starting to be at peace with life once again.

Pat left us suddenly and unexpectedly doing what he loved most, Pat drifted away from the moorings of this earth and into the presence of family and friends who have passed before him, many who loved him more than he knew.

Pat was able to experience a life of joy and satisfaction, a life of heartache and pain and everything in between, we are so grateful to have been a part of your life Pat, to share your passions, your humor, your grief, and most of all the love that you gave to those who you were able. You will be in our hearts and memories always; we are at peace knowing that you are now with those whom you love and had lost for a season.

Pat’s life is a testament that death is not the end but a glorious beginning!

Preceding Pat in death were his parents Andrew and Louise Garcia, wife Beverlee, daughter Dominie, and granddaughter Candace as well as many loyal and dear friends.

Pat leaves behind those who he loved and cared for, to reunite with him at a future time, they are: his only son Andy, daughter Cindy, granddaughter Nicole, grandsons Austin, Jason and Alex, great grandsons Jacob and Aiden, two great granddaughters Saylor and Kaia, and his very rambunctious Miss Molly as well as many faithful friends.

We would like to express our gratitude and love to you Uncle Toney and Aunt Cindy for your selfless support during these very difficult past several years, you are a true blessing to our family.

Those who would like to pay their respects to Pat are invited to celebrate with his family to honor Pat’s life. This is an outdoor event, being held at Mountain View Memorial Estates, located at 3115 east Bengal Blvd. Cottonwood Heights. Those who wish to, are encouraged to bring their Street Rods and park those vehicles on the north lawn just adjacent to the mausoleum at the celebration site, with access at the north end of the west drive along the pet cemetery, then east along the 3-rail fence.
