Patricia "Pat" Rose Ford

Aug 29, 1945 – Oct 24, 2026

Patricia Rose Foley Ford was called home on October 24, 2026, to be reunited with the love of her life, her husband of 64 years, Wayne Calvin Ford.

Born in San Rafael, California, Patricia met Wayne while serving breakfast to sailors in California, beginning a beautiful love story that brought them to Utah, where they raised their family.

Patricia was a woman of remarkable strength. She dedicated 39 years to the U.S. Forest Service and did everything she could to provide for her family.

Above all, Patricia loved fiercely. Her children, nine grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She treasured fishing with her son, watching hockey and soccer while visiting with her daughter Cindy, and traveling with her granddaughter Sarah.

“Just know I love you, be safe and have fun. ”

She loved Elvis Presley, whom she had the unforgettable opportunity to meet, and could often be found enjoying his music, playing bingo, or sharing stories with anyone willing to listen.

She believed everyone deserved kindness and compassion. Through her involvement with the Elks Lodge, she organized Christmas food and toy drives for families in need while Wayne played Santa Claus. Her generosity and dedication earned her the honor of Lady of the Elks in 2011.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Estella Roselee Foley and William “Red” Foley; her beloved husband, Wayne Calvin Ford; and her cherished dog, Lilly.

She is survived by her son, Dale Aaron Ford Sr.; daughter, Cindy Jenoice Moit Mitchell; nine grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Her favorite words were always, “Just know I love you, be safe and have fun.”

She was built Ford tough until the very end.
