Patricia “Patty” Ann Schulze Spencer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 80.

Patty was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wilford and Edna Schulze on August 30th, 1942. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings, including Temple worker. She attended the University of Utah and study art. She had a love for books, art, and holding all the babies.

Patty married her sweetheart James “Jim” Spencer on August 2nd, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with five beautiful children.

She is survive by her children, Jill (Scott) Simmons, Kristin (Clyde) Miller, Dan (Coreen) Spencer, Paul (Tracy) Spencer, and her favorite daughter Rebecca (Jason) Higbee; Nineteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and her sister Jan (Barry) Gammell.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Spencer; her brothers Richard “Dick” (Yuki) Schulze, and David (Carma)Schulze.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27th at 10AM, followed by the funeral at 11AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. in Sandy.
