Patricia Lou Parker Westover

Mar 17, 1932 Feb 11, 2023

Patricia Lou Parker Westover graduated from this life on February 11, 2023 at the age of 90 at Legacy of Taylorsville, Utah.

She was born at home in Richfield, Utah on March 17, 1932 to Pearl Black and Albert Bryant Parker, the youngest of seven siblings, who waited patiently outside to meet their new little sister.

She married Ray Dean Westover on October 15, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. They made their home in Rose Park with their three adorable children for over half a century. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings, including many, many opportunities to play the piano and organ. She retired after working over 20 years in the Salt Lake Temple in administrative positions.

She is survived by children Deanna (Mike) Brooks, Sherrie (Ryan) Shippen, and Michael (Brenda) Westover, 15 grandchildren and a plethora of great-grandchildren.

As a grandson pointed out, as the last of Patricia and Ray Dean’s siblings and spouses, she was fashionably late to the reunion in heaven, greeted by her husband, parents, brothers Teddy (Betty), Garn, Sherman (Beth), and sisters Donna V (Raymond) Thornblad, Phyllis (Robert) Warnock and Maxine (Scott) Geringer.

Viewing will be held on Friday, February 17, from 6-8 pm at Larkin Mortuary 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Graveside service will be held at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy on Saturday, February 18, at 11 am. For those unable to attend, services will be streamed via Zoom. Please visit Patricia’s obituary at www.larkincares.com for information.

A special thanks to Legacy of Taylorsville for their excellent care and compassion for our mother.
