Nancy Lou Solomon Jennings

Dec 12, 1942 Mar 21, 2025

Our sweet wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at home with her loving husband by her side. She overcame many obstacles and health issues. She was a trooper to the end and will be deeply missed.

She was playfully named nanner or nanner goat. She loved camping, fishing, cruising, and spending time with her family. Her favorite pastime was going to Wendover and playing the slot machines.

She worked at First Security Bank for over 25 years and retired as a bank operations manager where she made many long-lasting friendships.

Survived by:

Her husband of 65 1/2 years Jerry Jennings, daughter Tami (Mike) Kratzer, son Jerry Jr (Judy) Jennings and daughter Teresa (Steve) Gustafson, sister Beverly (Joe) Rutherford, brother Larry Varney, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, with another one on the way and many nieces and nephews.

She was welcomed home with open arms by her mother, father, stepfather George Varney, brother Marvin Solomon, sisters Barbara Evans and Diane Bond, and son-in-law Mike Kratzer

We love you so much and we will meet again.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to services in the mortuary.
